3 Days Mt. Meru Hiking
TRIP OVERVIEW
Mt Meru is the second highest mountain in Tanzania and 5th highest in Africa. Located inside of Arusha National Park, Mt Meru is sometimes used as an acclimatization climb before Kilimanjaro but it is also a wonderful trek in its own right. Overnight will be inside of a dormitory style hut. The lower elevations pass through areas where there is plenty of wildlife, so each group is accompanied by an armed ranger.
